On a recent reccy trip to Malta, I was fortunate enough to take a look around the Palazzo Parisio. Being winter in Malta, things were pretty quiet and I had the palace all to myself so was able to soak up the atmosphere of the venue without interference. An absolutely opulet building, you could not stop yourself saying wow! every time you turned a corner. The unique marble staircase leading up to the balcony and the great ballroom was something else, carved out of one lump of marble I believe. Walking into the great ballroom, you almost fell over in astonishment, the room was so impressive (the ceiling of the ballroom pictured above.) There were a series of furnished rooms leading off the ballroom which you could wander through at your leisure, all beautifully period in decoration. Outside were beautiful gardens, complete with orange trees and a conservatory. One of the most exciting things about this place is that you can actiually hire it as your wedding venue. I think it would be a beautiful place to get married and would definitely secure you some truly unique wedding photographs, there aren't a lot of venues I've seen with an interior as stunning. What's more, the company owns a private luxury yacht that you can charter for yourselves and up to 12 guests, so after the big day, why not have another party cruising around the med! If you'd like to have a look at the website, here it is..
Don't forget. I also photograph weddings worldwide, so get in touch to discuss your requirements...
